Medical Disclaimer

Please read this before deciding on any procedure
Nothing on this website is medical advice. It is general information written for people who are exploring their options. It cannot take account of your medical history, your anatomy, your medication or your goals. Only a qualified clinician who has examined you can tell you whether a procedure is right for you.

1. We are not your clinician

Lumière Clinic & Suites (a trading name of Eftalya Cosmetic) coordinates treatment; it does not deliver it. Our coordinators are not doctors and do not assess, diagnose or advise on clinical matters. Every clinical question — whether you are a candidate, which technique suits you, what result is realistic, how long recovery takes in your case — is answered by the treating clinician, not by us.

2. No procedure is risk-free

All surgical and non-surgical procedures carry risk. Depending on the procedure this may include bleeding, infection, adverse reaction to anaesthesia, blood clots, nerve injury, altered sensation, asymmetry, visible scarring, poor wound healing, dissatisfaction with the aesthetic result, and the need for revision surgery. Serious complications, though uncommon, can be permanent or life-threatening.

Your treating team must explain the risks that apply to you, in a language you understand, before you consent. If that has not happened, do not proceed. Ask us and we will arrange it.

3. No guaranteed outcome

Results vary between individuals and cannot be promised in advance — not by us and not by any surgeon. Factors outside anyone’s control include your skin quality, healing response, age, weight changes, smoking, underlying conditions and how closely aftercare is followed. Any timeline, recovery period or result described on this site is a general expectation, not a commitment.

4. Why we do not publish before-and-after photographs

We deliberately do not show before-and-after imagery. Such images depict one person’s outcome and cannot predict yours, and in several of the countries our visitors live in — Germany among them — advertising cosmetic surgery with them is restricted by law. We would rather give you accurate information, honest risk, and access to a clinician who will assess you properly.

5. Aftercare and follow-up

Treatment abroad means your recovery happens after you fly home. Before you travel, make sure you know who to contact if something is wrong, how quickly they respond, what is covered if a revision is needed, and how your local health services fit in. We help arrange follow-up and stay reachable, but we cannot provide clinical care remotely.

If you have a medical emergency, do not contact us first. Call your local emergency number — 999 or 112 in the UK, 112 across the EU, 112 in Türkiye — or go to your nearest emergency department. Tell us afterwards, and we will contact your clinic and pass on your records.

6. Do not stop or change treatment on the basis of this site

Never disregard advice from your own doctor, or delay seeking it, because of something you read here. If you take prescribed medication, keep taking it until a clinician tells you otherwise.

7. Choosing where to be treated

You are entitled to check, and we will help you check: the surgeon’s qualifications and registration, the licence status of the facility, who administers the anaesthetic, what happens if you need to stay longer, and what the clinic’s revision policy actually says in writing. A clinic that will not answer these questions is telling you something.
